Become a BIXI driver in Montreal
A useful work for citizens
What’s the best driving job in Montreal? Driving for BIXI! Help us make sure BIXI users always find a bike when they need one! You’ll help set up the stations and redistribute bikes throughout the network by driving a pickup truck (with or without a trailer) between the warehouse and the stations. You’ll also search for lost bikes and bring any damaged bikes to the CycloChrome bike mechanics so they can get fixed.
More into small city cars, electric if possible? Well, isn’t that convenient! We also need Drivers who replace the batteries of the electric bikes. Drive around Montréal, Laval and Longueuil in a Smart or Volt and make more electric BIXIs available by swapping empty batteries for full ones.
Make a difference in Montreal’s mobility at each turn and see where the road leads you!

Why should you become a BIXI Driver?
As Nicolas Miron (e-bike battery replacer) tells us, “After working in the restaurant industry for over 7 years, I needed a new challenge. I love biking and I wanted to find a job with a greener, more eco-friendly company. Biking is a fantastic way to get around, go to the park, the metro or even go get your groceries.”
His colleague, Keyla Vasquez-Reynel, who works on the same team, echoes his feelings, “After I got laid off in my field, I wanted to try something completely different. The atmosphere at BIXI is energetic and the customers are so nice.”
Getting driver jobs in Montreal at BIXI helped both of them achieve their goals and set their careers on a different path!
The best thing about being on the road, according to them?
“I take my break somewhere different each day! One nice summer day, I found a nice grassy spot to eat my sandwich and enjoy the sunshine. Then a mother duck and her ducklings waddled by me like I wasn’t even there. It was cool to see and the special moment made the rest of my day that much brighter!”
