A Carrefour BIXI is an innovative new concept designed to enhance the BIXIST experience by facilitating bike rentals, providing fleet maintenance right within the network and offering personalized customer service through direct contact with our team.

Come see us! Our mechanics are here every day and are happy to answer your questions and help you rent a bike.

Maintaining bikes, without going to the warehouse

At Carrefour BIXI, we strive to get bikes back on the road as quickly as possible so you can enjoy your bike rentals. Thanks to the work of our mechanics, the majority of bikes can be put back into service the same day, after routine repairs such as:

  • Tire inflation and replacement
  • Saddle adjustment
  • Connection triangle repair
  • Chain oiling
  • Damaged crutch replacement
  • Electric BIXIs battery swap

All cyclists are welcome! A self-service universal repair station and an air pump are also available on site, so you can carry out basic repairs and inflate the tires on your personal bike.

The Carrefours are now closed for the cold season, with the exception of the Carrefours La Fontaine and ÉTS, which will remain open until October 31, according to the following schedule:

Monday to Friday – 8 am to 7 pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10 am to 7 pm

Their adjacent BIXI stations have tens, even hundreds of docking points, often making them the largest stations in their respective areas!

Carrefours BIXI, well integrated into the city

In addition to serving as key locations for bike maintenance, Carrefours BIXI provide an opportunity to explore new ways of integrating our infrastructure into the urban landscape.

Thanks to a partnership with the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), a green roof was installed for the very first time on the campus’s Carrefour BIXI!

This project is part of ÉTS’s initiative to create an eco-corridor that will place its campus at the heart of a network of parks and natural areas, thereby contributing to biodiversity in the Griffintown neighborhood.
